Within any organisation there are people who work hard behind the scenes to ensure that everything runs smoothly and objectives are being achieved. The Officers of NASO for 2008 to 2009 and their duties are: · Chairman - Pauline Smith
Chairs the AGM and Executive Committee meetings, (usually 2 per year). Keeps in touch with all Groups
· Vice Chairman - Position Vacant Backs up and supports the Chairman (usually an ex-Officer) · Secretary - Beryl Andrews
Minutes committee meetings and AGM. Deals with any correspondence and communication for the County. Acts as a link with the National Organisation. · Treasurer - Di Liebscher Manages the finances of the
Keeps the accounts. Presents financial statements twice yearly to the Executive Committee and AGM.
· Events Team - willing persons or groups will co-ordinate events, outings and activities of the County (usually One-Day Seminars, Summer Outings, Charity Events, Christmas Parties and other events as required). The aim being that the responsibility rests on more shoulders! · Newsletter Editor - Diana Liebscher Edits and produces the quarterly County Newsletter 'NASO News' · Publicity Officer - Nick Berridge
Publicises the work of NASO to raise our profile and recruit new members. He is assisted by Stephen Welyczko, who is also the webmaster for this site. These officers form the Executive Committee of the County
Please note that the next election of Officers will take place at the next AGM to be held in October 2009.
